Representing almost 30 groups from across the province, the N.B. Watershed Caucus is a forum for watershed conservation organizations across New Brunswick to share experiences, information, and techniques. The objective is to foster sustainable partnerships and build capacity for watershed groups across New Brunswick through effective networking and communication.

"Healthy Waters, Healthy Province"

More specifically, the caucus is working towards advancing the following priorities:
  • Create an efficient and effective communication strategy.
  • Develop a long-term funding strategy.
  • Coordinate data collection and monitoring.
  • Encourage the completion of the water policy framework in New Brunswick including the Water Classification Regulation.

The NBEN brings environmental groups together to work on watershed issues through its caucus approach.
