Invasive Species Workshop
À : mar 13 at 04:30
The forum will bring together Invasive Alien Species (IAS) specialists and individuals representing various governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, industry groups, academics and First Nations in order to foster collaboration and create new networks around the IAS issue.
The forum, to be held in Fredericton on March 13, 2012, will provide opportunities for awareness-raising, education, networking and the establishment of long-term collaborative efforts. This will lead to a lasting and potentially significant contribution to the protection of ecosystems and native biodiversity in the province of New Brunswick.
Speakers from the New Brunswick Invasive Species Council, the Canadian Invasive Species Council and industry sectors will be sharing recent activities concerning invasive species.
Expect a full event with plenty of opportunity to discuss the changing invasive landscape in Eastern Canada.
Help us spread the news! Please circulate to your networks and others who may be interested.
